We stayed for two nights and enjoyed meeting our wonderful hosts, Mike and Dawn, at the Kingsville House Bed and Breakfast. The home and hosts are warm, welcoming and very accommodating.
As you walk through the front door you find yourself in a cozy dining room with a beautiful sideboard offering coffee, tea and freshly baked cookies or muffins. There is a large comfortably elegant living room with a fireplace, books, board games, music and two lush couches for you to lounge and relax. On your way upstairs to your room, there is a large selection of brochures of things to do in the area. There is also a fabulous backyard, including a heated pool, for you to enjoy.
We stayed in the "Birds Nest" room and asked for the twin bed set up. The room was bright, with a lot of natural light, and very well appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bar sized fridge a generous size and the in-room coffee maker offered all the fixin's.
I've saved the best part for last ... our breakfast, on both days, was plentiful and delicious, you will not be disappointed.
From this location you are just a short distance to stores, restaurants and Point Pelee National Park, to name a few. While there, we enjoyed Pelee Island Winery, Jack's Gastro Pub and Grove Brewhouse. We also bought some wonderful cheese at the "The Butcher of Kingsville".
I highly recommend this bed and breakfast wholeheartedly, I would stay here again, without hesitation.
